Freshly Prepared Foods and Daily Provisions

East Marion

Inspired by the local food landscape of the North fork, long time friends Lucy Muellner and Erin Fitzpatrick moved from Brooklyn in 2011 taking over Angels General Store in East Marion. A general store since the 1890’s, this small community gathering spot has slowly changed its look, but still a local favorite.

The idea was to offer a wide range of provisions alongside a locally inspired menu. Offering fresh salads, homemade chili, soups and sandwiches that pile high with all natural meats, cheeses and fresh local produce when available.  Using sources such as Sep’s, Lathams, Deep Roots, KK’s The Farm, Blue Duck Bakery and LI Coffee, they are both offering the freshest available ingredients as well as helping to create a strong economic community.

Partnered with Tom Hart of Deep roots farm in Orient, their CSA offers a box of seasonal vegetables, eggs and occasionally chicken along with organic fresh cut herbs from Chris Gaipa of Greenhouse Affect.  Weekly shares are picked up at the store…a great opportunity for both community and share holder.

A one stop shop, the shelves are stocked with everything needed for the weekend.  Call ahead, and they’ll prepare a fresh boxed lunch for a day at the beach. Pick up and enjoy!
